Nail the Door Shut

Toxic people? Walk away and nail the door shut.

Toxic environment? Leave and nail the door shut.

Toxic situation? Once your responsibilities are complete, nail the door shut.

The response, "Well, sometimes it's more complicated than that" is rarely a good reason to stay.

Yes, life is sometimes complicated. However, most situations are not. When your mental health, safety, energy, self-worth or values are being compromised, it is not complicated.

Please stop telling yourself that it is.
