You're Missing a Ton!

Right now, there is a focus on what we cannot do - gather together, go to school, go to work, go to the gym, travel, etc.

Instead of focusing on what you cannot do, shift your attention to all the things you CAN do right now from the comfort of your own home.

Social distancing and "lockdowns" have more benefits than just my leased vehicle all of a sudden being WAY below mileage! You just have to shift where you are putting your attention.

For example...

I am seeing so much sharing going on! Yesterday, I took an online Laughing Yoga class with people from around the world. Today, my social media channels allowed me to be serenaded by Steve Martin's banjo, enjoy a concert from a renown pianist, and have Josh Gad read me stories!

I have taken classes on things of interest to me on LinkedIn and from Yale University. I have watched penguins roam around Chicago's Shedd Aquarium, checking out exhibits and giant tanks holding stingrays, dolphins, and red-bellied piranhas. I have done free workouts with Planet Fitness via Facebook live. I have watched the Atlanta Zoo's live panda page. I have toured museums, watched Broadway plays, and played board games with my family while cooking at home!!!

Due to cultural institutions and tourist attractions closing their physical doors, many places have opened their virtual doors. Take advantage of this time to learn, be inspired, and be entertained!

Instead of focusing on what you cannot do, shift your attention to all the things you CAN do right now from the comfort of your own home.
